ANONYMITY

The Checkpoint provides an anonymous HIV test – clients are not required to provide identity documents and they have the right not to disclose their identity.

To ensure the protection of personal data and confidentiality, Checkpoint client registration are based on the standard formula used to register clients for the HIV prevention network. Visitor tracking is required to track the volume and history of the Service provided in the Test. A health worker fills out a client registration form for each visitor, collecting some information about the client (surname or personal code is not requested) and marking the services provided. The information obtained is recorded in the Data Electronic Journal of Baltic HIV Association .
